The European Technology & Innovation Platform on Renewable Heating and Cooling (RHC ETIP) is organizing the event 100% RHC for a Sustainable Future; the opportunity for RHC experts to learn, network and present their RHC innovative projects.

From a DecarbEurope viewpoint, this event engages four of our key solutions: District heating, Bioenergy, Heat pumps and Solar thermal, as well as the cross-sector application potential in buildings, districts, cities and industries.

The RHC ETIP gathers industry representatives, researchers and policy-makers to network and exchange their expertise on innovative Renewable Heating and Cooling projects, along with the challenges and opportunities to thrive in the long term.

What’s involved?

100% RHC for a Sustainable Future includes:

  • The 100% RHC Workshop: Real-life RHC projects in buildings, districts, cities and industries.
  • The 100% RHC Conference: A high-level conference led by RHC industry and policy representatives and Finnish government officials. The discussion will focus on: A Vision for 100% Renewable Heating and Cooling in Europe; Unlocking investment for further innovation; and National round-tables.
  • An evening reception hosted by the Mayor of Helsinki at the City Hall. During the reception the Mayor will announce a 1 million EUR prize for the best project to decarbonize Helsinki’s H&C network.
